Below is a short snapshot of worldwide blueberry markets. Full details of wholesale and retail pricing are available to members.China
Across all varieties in the market, the overall trend remains the same — pricing is below that of the previous two years. From week 35 onward until the current week 43, pricing has traded as much as -55% below, while it is currently around -15% below the previous season.
At retail, Chinese blueberries remain available; however, their dominance has declined in the weeks when Peruvian goods have increased. Based on data collected from eight retailers — including Walmart, HeMa, Vanguard, RT Mart, AEON, and others — over 80% of goods are currently Peruvian, with an average sales price of 16.62元 (125g) ≈ $2.34 USD, a higher bound of 20.00元 (125g) ≈ $2.81 USD, and a lower bound of 11.90元 (125g) ≈ $1.67 USD.

India
The market for blueberries remains razor-thin but has potential for growth. Currently, Peruvian goods dominate the offering, while domestic blueberries are beginning to enter the market. Since access to retail is key for this product line, and because the retail segment is small yet important for high-value goods, companies able to brand and market effectively are well-positioned to access ideal consumers.

Middle East
Fruit Data Kings currently tracks the fruit offerings and pricing of four main retailers in Dubai: Lulu, Spinneys, Union Coop, and Carrefour. As of week 43, these four retailers were primarily offering Zimbabwean and South African goods, followed by Moroccan.
Average pricing has increased slightly over the last three weeks and currently sits at AED10.00 (125g) ≈ $2.72 USD, within the range of the last 20 weeks (AED8.75–11.25 per 125g) ≈ $2.38–$3.06 USD.
Europe
Similar to the trend visible in the leading Peruvian blueberry market (the USA), pricing is noticeably below the previous two years. This is unsurprising, as volumes were shorter during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Currently, average pricing is around -14% lower than in the same week of the previous two years, though that value was substantially higher in weeks 38–42.
In German retail, pricing for regular blueberry clamshells is between €1.90–2.05 (125g) ≈ $2.20–$2.37 USD, which is quite similar to the values recorded for the same period of the 2024 season.
